My love for travel began as a teenager with my first trip to Europe—an experience that ignited a lifelong passion for exploring new destinations. Travel quickly became a defining lifestyle for me, profoundly shaping who I am today. However, I often found myself disappointed by popular guidebooks' recommendations for 'off the beaten path' experiences, which seemed to lead everyone to the same places.

This fueled my desire to dig deeper and seek out truly authentic experiences that aren't always found in guidebooks. I wanted to uncover the hidden gems—the local eateries, the vibrant neighborhoods, the lesser-known cultural sites—that offer a genuine glimpse into a destination's soul. This quest for authenticity not only enriched my own travels but also inspired me to share these unique discoveries with others.

As my life evolved, so did my journey. After my two children were born, I was determined to raise them as global citizens, fostering their appreciation for diverse cultures, stunning landscapes, and fascinating people around the world. Prioritizing experiences over things, I have immersed them in enriching journeys across Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Africa, instilling in them the same curiosity and passion for travel that has always driven me.
